Textual Analysis of Childrens Film - The Indian in the Cupboard

The Indian In The Cupboard

There is native American music at the start, this sets the scene.
While this music is on it shows credits which are set in front of the toy indian village.
This film is based on a Novel.
The locations are set outside the boys school, when his mother picks him up and also at their house and the skate-park after he recieves a skateboard for his birthday.
CGI is used on the little indian man in the cupbaord, to make it look more realistic.
The genre of this film is Childrens Adventure.
Makes you ask questions about the storyline when you see all of the Indian toys and animals set up.
The little Indian models are personified as real people and you identify with them quickly.
